A Few Words from Editor Art Criscoe

We need at least 52 new programs for 2012. We can be thankful that God is opening doors all over the world for CTTW, but it places great demands on all of us as team members. The demand for dramas and Hear the Word programs is outpacing our supply. Please pray that God will bring new writers to us. If you know of potential writers, please talk with them about joining our team.

I must tell a bit of my personal story to share one wonderful way God is providing for CTTW. Eight years ago I attended for one term the Instituto de Lengua Espanola in Costa Rica, the premier Spanish language school in the world for missionaries and Christian workers. Needless to say, I was not their premier student. Have you ever heard someone from Alabama try to speak Spanish? Since that experience I have always wanted to return and complete my schooling, but never found the time. This past summer I returned, and here I am in Costa Rica. I attend classes during the day and work for CTTW at night! One of my classmates is Dr. Star Ferdinand, missionary to Honduras. As I became acquainted with Star, I learned not only of her heart for God and for reaching people for Christ, but also about her extensive background in writing, both in the technical and religious fields. Star has joined our team as editor. This is wonderful good news and will help CTTW to take a giant step forward in preparing programs for release. I realize that it may be that in God’s planning, He led me to return to school for the main purpose of connecting with Star. Read Star’s bio on our website and pray for her.

We have a talented and committed team of writers and artists spread across the United States. And it all began with Cal and Joyce Robertson from Branson, Missouri. They are not only master storytellers, but they were with Larry in the very beginning and helped to conceptualize a design model for the dramas. They have written over 130 dramas for CTTW and are still in the vineyard.

A message from Senior Editor, Dr. Art Criscoe

I am grateful to the dedicated men and women who write the printed and audio resources for Christ to the World and the skilled artists who render visual interpretations of the Bible stories have a common goal: To reach persons for Jesus Christ. Like the boy who gave Jesus his sack lunch long ago on a hillside in Galilee, we offer our loaves and fishes to God. He has used them to bless people around the world. For this we are grateful. Please pray for our team.
